Poultry Meal
Poultry meal protein is a high Protein/Low ash pet food grade animal protein. Poultry Meal is produced
from ground rendered clean parts of the carcass of slaughtered poultry.
Description:
Product obtained from slaughterhouses bird in which viscera and other parts of the body are included
along with waste chicken meat which are of no interest in other applications. These are subjected to a
firing process at low pressure, from 110 to 130 ° C for 3 to 6 hours. After this thermal process is
carried out,it is followed with pressing from which oil is extracted from chicken. The resulting press
cake is dried, ground and packaged.
Properties:
It has very good profile of amino acids and has a high level of digestibility. Although it is a
concentrated protein building, also has a significant level of energy intake.
Use in Food industry:
It is mainly used as a protein source. It is a product rich in lysine, an essential amino acid, the main
limiting amino acid in fish feed the percentage of methionine, like the vast majority of products whose
origin is in terrestrial animals. Especially rich in B vitamins as well as mineral intake.
